I love my job, helping to identify great products for the China market

I have been working in product planning at Dorel Juvenile since 2009. I am responsible for planning and analyzing the product line for the China market, and for researching and developing juvenile products with R&D colleagues. I really like this creative job, and get particular pleasure from seeing consumers use our products.


For the first two years, I worked in Shanghai, but since 2011 I have been travelling to other cities, contacting customers and suppliers, listening to their different ideas and experiencing the unique operational mode of the China market. I fell in love with this kind of work experience and its direct focus on the market. Not only does it enrich my experience in product development, but it also helps me discover what products are suitable for Chinese consumers.


In 2015, I started working with Dorel Juvenile’s international first-line brands. My main responsibility is to help the brands enter the China market. I cooperate with colleagues from all over the world and our communication is full of vitality and fun. We come up with some good ideas together and discuss market analysis, product specifications and marketing strategy. My horizons are broadening every day and I am gaining a more global perspective on the juvenile products industry.
